A conversational companion may have memory, voice and personality while the body remains static. A robotic system may add moving eyes, head motion, facial expression, sensing or eventually broader powered movement.
Compare the software layer
Ask where conversations are processed, what is stored, whether a subscription is required, how personality settings work, and what happens if a cloud service changes or shuts down.
Compare the hardware layer
Degrees of freedom, sensors, replaceable modules, repairability, batteries, noise, maintenance and safety all matter. DollMetric keeps these separate so marketing terms do not collapse them into a single “AI” badge.
